What do the best fútbol players in the world have in common with a team at the bottom of England’s fourth division? Burger King.
Although the sponsorship idea was great, lots of brands were already in the game. So we created a dynamic social game plan to slide tackle its way into the gaming subculture. We put together a powerful social playbook and asked participants to put their favorite star players on Stevenage, and complete a variety of social challenges to make one of the worst teams in real life the best online.
If they shared their footage on social, they would score free BK menu items, Stevenage Swag, and potentially a cash prize.
